SnapStorm Privacy Policy

What SnapStorm does

SnapStorm is a Chrome extension that captures screenshots and video recordings of native ad previews inside your own Taboola Realize account, at your direction, and saves them to your computer's Downloads folder. It only runs on ads.realizeperformance.com pages and only when you click Start.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the Software and enforce your license:

(a) Device ID — a random identifier generated on your device (not derived from any hardware or personal identifier), used to enforce the one-device-per-license limit.
(b) License key — sent to our server each time you start a job, to confirm your subscription is active.
(c) Email address and billing details — collected by our payment processor (Stripe) at checkout to create your subscription and email you your license key. We don't handle or store your card details ourselves.

We do not collect your Taboola Realize login credentials, browsing history outside of Realize ad-preview pages, or the content of ads you capture — those stay on your own computer.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising or tracking. We don't share it with anyone except the service providers necessary to run SnapStorm (see below).

Service providers we use

Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
Supabase — hosts our license-validation server and license database.
Resend — delivers your license-key email.
Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service to us, under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep license and billing records for as long as your account is active, and as needed afterward for accounting and legal obligations. Device IDs are deleted when a license is canceled or a device is deactivated.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements), by emailing support@snapstorm.app.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
